Custodiol® HTK (Histidine-Tryptophan-Ketoglutarate) is a clinically proven flush and preservation solution used for multi-organ protection (Heart, Liver, Kidney, Pancreas, and Lungs).
Custodiol® HTK is a ready to use high flow, low potassium solution designed to remain in the organ vasculature during hypothermic storage and transportation to the recipient surgery. At just 10 mmol/L, the low potassium content of Custodiol HTK makes preflushing the solution from the organ unnecessary prior to implantation.
